Sci-Fi Theatre Network 2019 - May 11 - 2-4pm
Following the 2nd Talos: The Science Fiction Theatre Festival of London in 2018, and the launch of the Science Fiction Theatre Research Lab, our theatre company Cyborphic resumes its sci-fi theatre meetings in 2019.
We want to bring together playwrights, producers, directors, choreographers, set & costume designers and theatremakers more broadly, as well as scholars and researchers who are interested in science fiction theatre; but also other related genres such as horror and fantasy, as well as science theatre.
In our attempt to promote the genre on stage and explore its potential, we have also created the Internet Science Fiction Theatre Database, the first online database of its kind, and are currently planning more workshops, festivals and events.
For this meeting, we want to give each participant the spotlight to discuss their interest in the genre and their work.
This event is free to attend but places are limited. We want to invite people who have a professional or scholarly connection to science fiction theatre, so do write to us if you feel you have something to bring to the discussion. The event will take place in a pub venue in London, Zone 1, between 2-4pm on Saturday 11th of May. Please contact us using the form below by May the 7th and, if selected, we’ll send you more information in advance of the event.
We look forward to hearing from you!
